自分に唯一、師匠と呼ばせて頂ける方がいるとしたらOhta Designの太田陸雄氏かもしれない。

センスが抜群に良く、幅広い知識と知恵で様々な仕事の場面で良き指導、助言を頂いたいわば私のメンターです。

グラフィックデザインに始まり、店舗の内装や什器のつくり方、道具の使い方など様々な経験と技術を学ばせて頂きました。パソコンを一切使用しない昔ながらの手描きの版下や原稿は、アドビ世代の私にはとても新鮮で、デジタルにはない味わい深さやがあります。

LANI'S General Storeのロゴデザインもまた何を隠そう太田デザインの仕事である。

The only person who I can call my mentor might be Mr. Rikuo Ohta of Ohta Design.

He has a great sense and has given me good guidance and advice in various work situations with a wide range of knowledge and wisdom.

I learned a lot from him such as graphic design, store design, how to make furniture, and how to use tools...etc. The old-fashioned hand-painting that does not use a computer at all is very fresh for me as an Adobe generation, and has a taste that digital does not have.

LANI'S General Store logo design is also the work of Ohta Design.
